Before connecting your Tradovate credentials for your Gauntlet Mini™/ Trader Career Path to NinjaTrader, please confirm you have accepted the agreements and signed the necessary documents by logging in to this link. If not, you won't be able to connect your account.
Follow the steps below to successfully connect your Tradovate account with NinjaTrader:
Linking Tradovate to NinjaTrader Desktop: Multi-Provider Mode OFF
To get started, you first need to download the NinjaTrader Desktop software. Log into the NinjaTrader Account Dashboard using your Tradovate credentials, and click the Download button located in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
When you launch the software, a login window will appear. Enter your Tradovate username and password as shared in the email called "Tradovate Data Credentials", then click Log In.
After logging in, you will be prompted to choose a trading mode, during your Earn2Trade evaluation, pick simulation.
Linking Tradovate to NinjaTrader Desktop: Multi-Provider Mode ON
If you have already enabled Multi-Provider Mode on NinjaTrader Desktop, the initial login screen will not appear when the program loads. Instead, you will set up a dedicated connection manually.
From the main NinjaTrader Control Center, look at the top menu bar and select Connections > Configure.
In the configuration window, locate NinjaTrader under the available connection types. Double-click it to generate a new entry under your configured connections (by default, this will be named My NinjaTrader).
On the right side of the window, input your Tradovate username and password, as shared in the email called "Tradovate Data Credentials". Next, use the dropdown menu to select your preferred Account Type (Live or Simulated). During your evaluation, pick simulated. Click Apply/OK to save.
Update: Effective June 2, 2026, new NinjaTrader access will only be available via the NinjaTrader–Tradovate unified API, not the legacy Rithmic connection. If you plan to continue using NinjaTrader, you must select the NinjaTrader–Tradovate option during signup for all future subscriptions. Existing legacy connections will be honored but must completely run out by the end of June 2026. For more information, please review our article.
